Our Day in Kallio

Hey, this post is about an average day in Kallio.
Don't forget to watch the video about the same subject.
You can find the link in the end of this post.

My day usually starts by waking up at 6:30 and eating breakfast. Here are some examples of my breakfasts. Most people like to drink coffee in the morning, others drink tea, juice, milk, water or something else. Many Finns also like to eat oat porridge or rye bread with different toppings.

My buss leaves at 7:15 and school starts at 8:10. The first lesson is English.

In this periods I have 6 courses:

RUA6.1 - Swedish course 6
MAA11.2 - Mathematics course 11
TEA3.5 - Theater course 3
TEA11.1 - Theater course 11
ENA6.2 - English course 6
and
HI10 - History course 10, which is our Foto di Roma/Helsinki course.

We have lunch at 11:00 - 12:00 in the school restaurant on the 5th floor. The restaurant is called "Sky Bar". In Finland school lunch is free for everyone.

Last Friday, which was the 20th of March, at twelve o'clock we went out to see the solar eclipse. It was a "once in a lifetime"- experience, because the next time a full solar eclipse takes place 2126.

In the afternoon we had a theatre class, where we were presenting some scenes we'd prepared.

This picture is from our Studio Theatre.

After school we had a meeting with the principal and talked about the future studying methods and environments.

The Green Team of Kallio advertised the Earth Hour, which is this weeks Saturday, by doing face paintings.

SKYPE MEETING 3.3.2015

Today we finally had the opportunity to have a Skype session with out Italian friends. We talked about our schools and that we are all excited to meet each other in April.
Students of Liceo Ugo Foscolo were all so very  enthusiastic to meet us.
They asked questions about Finland and Helsinki.
Each group introduced them self and answered to Italians questions.
