THE END OF THE PROJECT

Thank you all!

The Erasmus+ project is finally in the end. Scrolling the texts of this blog and visiting the sites you can get a picture of what has happened during the two years. Read about the communication between the students from two different schools, their meetings and the results.

The blog has been a much used window to the activity. It´s also a exhibition of the photos students have been taking of Rome, Helsinki and Albano Laziale. Here under you can see some statistics. There has been over 7400 visits and the visitors come from many different countries and even continents.

So thank you from all of us!

ITALIANS HAVE ARRIVED!!!

Helsinki, April 17th

Sunday has been such a sunny day here in Helsinki that Italians could barely believe they were in Finland. Scarves and warm clothes were replaced by sun glasses and big happy smiles.

It is 9.30 and after a good night of sleep our group has tatuerei in front of Kiasma, Helsinki Contemporary Art Museum. The air is fresh and clear and after waiting for the last ones to arrive, the group enters the museum and starts the visit. The most impressive and fun rooms are:
- a room with nets  hanging from the ceiling and filled with plastic balls! It has been great fun to sit on them and rest!
- a room filled with plastic and coloured jewellery hanging from the ceiling.

The group is now satisfied with the visit but the day has just started! The program is to visit a church built inside a rock, the city center and a beautiful Orthodox Church with golden steeples. Walking is pleasant IN the sun, Finnish and Italian students talk together chummily.

It is 7 pm and the bbq has  already been set for us by Emma and her friends. The feeling is to be among old friends playing billiard, eating snacks and Finnish delicious chocolate. Time flows quickly and it is already 11 pm when, led by our lovely "tour guide" Marissa, the group catches the tram to go to the city center of Helsinki and enjoy a walk in the streets full of light.

Pope´s gardens

This image represent the Pope’s gardens. They are famous for their beauty and their bigness. Until 2014 it was a private residence in which Pope came to spend his holidays but now it can be visited and the Pope does not come here yet.
