Day 6

Saturday April 18th 2015 -last whole day

On morning few of us and our history teacher Niina took metro to Vatican museum.

Wow! The place was literally filled with art! It's a place that everyone should see with their own eyes - pictures are uninspiring when you compare to real thing.

We walked there quite long time before arriving to Sistine Chapel. It was too bad that it wasn't permissible to take pictures there but maybe because that those pictures went more deep to our minds.

We also sent a postcard to school. It was one task in Action Track.

After round inside we went sitting to the park.

In the evening we met our hosts and other Italians. They came from Albano Laziale to Rome and we had quite an adventure!  I really would love to go back to Italy, it was so awesome experience!!
Thank you all and miss you Italians!

Day 5

Friday - April 17th

There was a metro-strike in Rome from 10:00-17:00. We had planned a visit to Forum Romanum and Colosseum so we tried to get in the metro before the strike. Station of Furio Camillo was filled with people and only a few of us got in the third metro, first and second were too full. We ended up walking to our destinations.

First we went to Forum Romanum and took some videos about historical monuments with Italians. The place was so awesome! After that we had about hour long lunch break before Colosseum. I went to pizzeria with some of my friends.

Colosseum was pretty unbelievable and my face must have been very silly when I first saw it. It was so funny to be able to touch Colosseum! I had only saw it on books and movies before. Our teacher Niina told us some things about it but we had studied it quite much in school before so it was rehearse to previous studies.

After seeing enaugh Colosseum some of us wanted to see smaller place named Trastevere that our teachers recommended to us. On the way Trastevere we visited f.e.x. in Circus Maximus and greated own game to Action track. The game was named "terapiakanojen ajot" because our team name in Action track was "terapiakanat" (therapy hens) and "ajot" is same as ride or run in English. We had so much fun when we created the game!

After visiting beautiful Trastevere we had to go to hotel because our legs were so tired. In the evening I went to restaurant near our hotel with my smaller group and food was very good, again!
