Get your training shoes ready!

On the evening of April the 12th the students of Ugo Foscolo School were waiting in Albano for the bus carrying a group of Finnish students: they would have never imagined what was going to happen in the following days!

Teachers had explained them what an exchange programme is but eventually Italians and Finns discovered that it is more a marathon than a school programme.

Since Monday morning they never stopped walking, up and down on the hills of Albano and Rome and it is important to make it clear that Italian students are used to walk under the sun while Finnish students made an impressive effort especially due to the heath, we are proud of you guys!!

So get your training shoes ready if you do not want blisters on your feet and be carful following the teachers that keep running without looking tired at all, tablets in their hands and glasses on their noses. On Friday the group visited the Roman Forum, an experience that revealed to be new for some Italian students too, the weather was excellent and we collaborated together with the aim to know each other rather than being just students working for school.

It has been a special experience and we are pleased to report that students are already planning to visit each other again, even outside school paths! Erasmus Programme: Mission accomplished!!!!!!!!
